SMS Opt-In & Consent

Last updated: July 10, 2026

How consumers opt in to receive text messages from businesses that use OrderToAI, and how they opt out.

Who sends the messages

OrderToAI is a messaging platform used by local businesses (restaurants, salons, auto shops, clinics, and similar) to reconnect with their own existing customers. Each business sends from its own dedicated number, under its own name, to customers who already have a relationship with that business and have provided their mobile number.

How customers opt in

Consumers provide their mobile number and agree to receive text messages at the point of contact with the business, for example:

  • when booking an appointment or reservation (online or in person),
  • at the point of sale or check-in,
  • when joining a loyalty, waitlist, or rewards program, or
  • by texting the business first.

At the moment the number is collected, a clear consent notice is shown, separate from any other terms — for example: “By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive appointment reminders and occasional offers by text from [Business]. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” Consent to receive texts is never required as a condition of purchase, and is captured separately from acceptance of any privacy policy.

What customers receive

Appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and occasional win-back or re-engagement offers from the business the customer already knows. Messages are not sent to purchased or third-party lists.

How to opt out

Recipients can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any text; replying HELP returns help information. Opt-outs are honored immediately and across channels.

Privacy

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy. Questions? Contact OrderToAI LLC at info@ordertoai.com.
