Compliance
All plansCompliance is where the rules that govern outbound calling are visible and enforced. Three things run automatically rather than being left to you. Your internal Do-Not-Call list suppresses anyone who has opted out, and it applies across calls and texts together rather than per channel. Calling hours are enforced in each customer's own local time zone, not yours, so a customer two time zones away is never called at a bad hour because of where your business sits. And the contactable window limits outreach to customers whose relationship with you is recent enough to qualify. This page lets you see and manage suppressions, and it keeps the evidence trail showing why each call was permitted, which is what you would need if a complaint were ever raised.

What is enforced for you
- Opt-outs are honoured immediately and across both calls and texts, from whichever channel the request came in.
- Calling hours follow the customer's own local time zone rather than your business time zone.
- Customers outside the contactable window are skipped rather than called.
- Every outbound call is checked again at the moment of dialling, not just when the campaign was built.
- The AI discloses that it is an AI at the start of every outbound call.
- A caller can ask for a human at any time and is transferred rather than argued with.
Questions
- What is an established business relationship?
- It is the relationship created when someone chooses to do business with you, which is the basis United States telemarketing rules provide for contacting your own past customers. OrderToAI is built for that case specifically, which is why it will not call cold or purchased lists.
- How are calling hours decided?
- By the customer's own local time zone, derived from their number, not by your business hours. A customer in another time zone is held until their own permitted window opens, so you cannot accidentally call someone early because of where you are.
- If someone opts out by text, will they still get calls?
- No. Opt-outs are internal to your account and apply across channels, so a text opt-out stops calls as well. That cross channel suppression is enforced by the platform rather than being something you have to remember.
- Does the AI tell people it is an AI?
- Yes. Every outbound call opens by disclosing that it is an AI assistant, and on any call it says so plainly when asked. Callers can also ask for a person at any point and are transferred.
